i am LOVING the ankle boot trend but have yet to find a pair to call me own.  i thought i had found the right ones when i purchased these from nordstrom..

took them home tried them on with several outfits and just didn't love them.
 i am determined to find a pair..... i just have all these amazing fall outfits in my head... and no boots to make them real.  :) 

while i feel grateful that this is the biggest concern in my life at the moment... i am also equally frustrated.

well after months of not blogging.... i am back! 

 my last post i was on vacation in california visiting my boyfriend... 
to make a very long story short...  my boyfriend is now my HUSBAND!

on that last trip we got engaged! we decided to have a short engagement and got married 3 months later... 
so within the last 5 months i got engaged, got a new job, moved, got married and moved again! 
 It has FLOWN by.  i could not be happier with where i am at in life and who i am blessed to live life with.... 
FOREVER. 
 i have been thinking about the blog every day and have missed it so much!

EXCITED TO BE BACK 

this is a bit late... sorry in vacation mode and everything is just happening a little bit slower :) 

day 1 and i managed to fry myself!! so mad... i seriously only laid out for an hour and didn't even look pink!  we went to a couple other places that involved walking/standing around outside and i think that just really sealed the deal.  still managing to  have a blast though.. sun burn and all! 

we went to torrey pines glider port which had this incredible view of the ocean... we were hoping to see some people take off on their gliders but sadly didn't happen.  then we went over to the la jolla cove and there were A TON of seals!!! it smelled SO DISGUSTING but was so fun and their were people swimming in the cove just a few feet away from them all!  

it has been gorgeous weather and i am sorry i have been slacking with my posts (again) but below i have posted a few pictures of the places we "hiked" around and will be posting some outfits later! muah!

wow! yesterday was a whirlwind of travel... 

i had to go to the airport abnormally early because that was when i could get a ride there... so after the hour drive to the airport i waited a few hrs, 45 min flight to seattle, waited 2.5 hrs and then FINALLY got on my plane for a 2.5 hr plane ride to california. 

one word...

exhausted! 

on the bright side (literally) it is going to be 80 degrees today and the only time i plan on leaving the pool is to go to the mall while my boyfriend is in a meeting! yay for vacations!

not that i really need to tell you what i think of these bed | stu shoes again.. but i wore them from 9am-11:30pm, worked in the morning, then traveled all afternoon and evening and my feet felt great.

today has FINALLY come!

 i get to go to california to visit the boyfriend i am SO ecstatic!! haven't seen him since february... seriously?! sucks. anyways... this super cute little dress is such an easy piece to throw on and immediately look polished. it would be darling with a little blazer over it... 

hmmm maybe my mint one that i want to wear with EVERYTHING!? 

i know i am obsessed with these bed |stu shoes and you have already had to see 5+ posts about them... but come on they are SO incredible.. i can't get enough.

also... i decided to throw in some goofy pics that we got out of this... sometimes i just feel so silly with all these pictures and have to make a funny face or two because it can just be awkwardddddd!

i feel like i totally neglected the blog this past weekend... i usually try to do at least one post during the weekend but got totally caught up in family/friend time! not totally a bad reason... right?

i know national sibling day was a couple days ago but i have to share these photos of my brother... 
when i was 4 years old my mom would come in every night and tuck me in for bed and have prayer with me.  i started praying for my mom to have 2 babies one for her to play with and and one for me (haha...) little did she know that 1 year later she would be having 2 cutie little boys! 

so! i have 2 brothers who are identical twins...
 pretty cool huh?
actually they are called mirror twins.  one's hair parts on the left and is left handed and the other's parts on the right and is right handed.
